
Luke has been CEO of the Laundry Association Australia (LAA) since late 2021, in his time the membership list of the LAA has more than doubled.
Luke lives in Perth however is relocating to Brisbane in July 2023. He is dedicated to the LAA, its members and the sector. He is particularly interested in helping the LAA and members to continue to improve professional standards across the sector, through initiatives that have included the review of AS4146, LAA accreditation process and the continuation of the LAA webinar series.
Before he joined the LAA, he held a range of industry representative organisations. Prior to his time in business, he had an interesting background having served in the Federal Parliament for nine years, 15 years as an Army Officer holding the rank of Major and before that the Australian Federal Police. He also represented Australia and NSW in the sport of rowing, having won multiple State and National championships.
